Dr. Dan Westervelt: Climate Change and Air Pollution Scientist: Dr. Westervelt is currently a Lamont Associate Research Professor at Columbia University’s Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory Palisades, New York. He is an affiliated scientist with the NASA Goddard Institute of Space Studies in New York (NY), and an air pollution advisor to the U. S. State Department. He is also an affiliate faculty of the Columbia University Data Science Institute. Prior to Lamont, he worked as a Science , Technology and Environmental Policy (STEP) postdoctoral research associate at Princeton University.
Makafui Awuku: Environmentalist, Innovator, Entrepreneur, Founder and CEO Mckingtorch Africa. Mckingtorch Africa is a registered social enterprise working in the environmental sustainability space. It has worked to recover over 100 tons plastic waste since 2018 and has run research projects with Academic Institutions in Ghana, the UK, USA and Canada.
